Online Return Policy

Walnut Melbourne’s Online Returns Policy is designed to:

  • Assist you to make your return.
  • Support you in accordance with the rights and remedies you have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
  • Make your shopping experience with us pleasurable.

RETURNS POLICY

    • Full priced items ordered within Australia are eligible for a FREE RETURN and can be returned for a change of mind online credit or refund. If you purchase a full priced item using a promotional code, this is still considered eligible for a refund.
    • Sale items with a pink price can be returned for an online credit only, unless deemed faulty. Customers are responsible for the cost of their return postage for any sale items.
  • Orders can be returned within 30 days of order delivery.
  • Returns will only be accepted provided that:
  • A proof of purchase is provided.
  • The item is in its original, new and unused condition with all packaging, boxes, and tags attached.
  • If you believe your item to be faulty please let us know in writing along with any photos to info@walnutmelbourne.com
  • Purchases made at third-party stockist cannot be returned via our Online Returns Department and will need to be returned to the store the item(s) were purchased from.
  • For returns from countries outside of Australia, please indicate ‘return of non-conforming merchandise’ on customs forms.

HOW TO RETURN:

FULL PRICED ITEMS 

Free returns (available on full priced items ordered within Australia)

Please ensure all return conditions are met. Ensure you are returning item(s) within 30 days from delivery.

2. Contact our customer service team for a free return postage label
Simply email us at info@walnutmelbourne.com with the below details and if your return meets all conditions of our Return Policy, we'll email you a free return Australia Post label.
Email Subject: Online Return Request (your order #)
Email Body: Item(s) you are returning.

3. Prepare your return
- Fill out the Online Returns Form you received in your parcel and package up your return with all original packaging.
- Check your inbox for your free return label. *Please note that they will be sent during business hours so there may be a slight delay.
- Once you've received the label, print and attach to the parcel, covering any original post labels.
- Take to your local Australia Post office or drop off point.

4. Processing
We aim to process all returns within 2-4 business days of receipt. You will receive a notification of your refund/online credit note as soon as it has been processed.

2. Package & Post
Include the Online Return Form and package up your return.
Customers are responsible for the return postage on sale, outlet or warehouse sale items. We recommend using a trackable postage service as Walnut Melbourne is not responsible for any return parcels until they are received at our warehouse.

3. Processing
We aim to process all returns within 2-4 business days of receipt. You will receive a notification of your online credit note via email.
*Please note: Warehouse Sale items are final sale and are unable to be returned.

FAULTY / INCORRECT ITEMS

We are sorry to hear that your order was not perfect. So what now? Please follow the below steps.
1. Email customer service at info@walnutmelbourne.com
2. Write a description of the fault/incorrect item
3. Include your online order number and proof of purchase
4. Include photos for our product team to assess
Products that have a major fault may be returned for a refund or credit note. For items with minor faults, we can often repair these for you!

USING ONLINE CREDIT NOTES

Online credits are a great option if you need some more time to select the perfect item! Valid for 12 months from date of issue, our online credits are available to be redeemed on any category. Simply place the unique code we've emailed you into the 'discount code' box at the shopping cart.
Online credits must be redeemed in on 1 transaction, excluding shipping costs.
